i had such a hectic weekend that i just wanna plop down on my bed and sleep till there's no tomorrow.
When we're together,
We're together,
There's no tomorrow,
No Tomorrow.
When we're together
There's no one in the world
but you and me.
Just you and me.
You and me
No Tomorrow. Orson
i had my aceh trip simulation camp and it was madness. seriously madness.
we had games after games. and EVERY EVERY EVERY games come with a learning point.
it's not those cheesy kind of learning points like teamwork or whatsoever.
it was in-depth, sensible, meaningful but too much of it makes it seem so much like a drudgery.
the HIGHLIGHT is the "midnight joke".
they (the facilitator) happily woke us up at 3.23AM for an earthquake simulation exercise.
YOU KNOW HOW EARLY IT WAS? AND HOW LATE WAS THE LIGHTS OFF?
we had activities till 12am yesterday k! from 10am-12am. and lights out was at 1am. then the bloody earthquake was at 3.23am and it didn't end until 4.30am!!
so there were 12 in the camp (2 didn't stayover) and during the simulation, 1 was asked to be unconscious, 1 was having open bone protrusion and the other one was sick and unwell.
alright. i pretty know it was a drill (so i took it quite "calmly") until this guy (yinghuei) who took us quite a while to wake him up when roger (another person) shouted "earthquake!"
so i thought he (yinghuei) was not in the act then he suddenly squatted down and everyone was crowding abt him and i thought he was REALLY SICK and it was only after a while when the rest gave him water (just some dummy water bottle) that i know he was faking it.
damn. i was damn scared and lost i tell you.
argh.
anyway, i was up in level 2 to help the guys bring the unconscious girl down.
and HAHA!, we don't know how to use a stretcher. it was pretty dumb lah!
but anyway, instead of having 2 pple to bring the girl down, we used like 7 pple. HAHA! :D
i think the rest of the pple think i am a bloody bimbo.
when they asked me what i feel towards the simulation exercise and i just blantly said,
"oh. some midnight joke."
then everyone gave me that ERMMMM look.
so i said,
"oh! but it was a GREAT simulation exercise"
haha. at that moment in time i was quite off-form. it was 4.45 IN THE MORNING K!
and i was having stomachache, must be the icecream at night!! )):
then we went back and i finally fell asleep at 5-ish after the temple nearby cant stop chiming its bells. oh! but i woke up at 6.45am to bathe and cook breakfast!
I FLIPPED MY FRENCH TOAST! I FLIPPED IT OVER BY FLIPPING THE PAN!
anw, everything is not so bad as it sounds. i just needed to rant.
seriously, i learnt a lot. service-learning, strategy planning, teamwork, bonding, tuckman's model of teamwork (forming, storming, norming, dissolving) and so much more.
i got to interact with people of my age (there is 5 j2s. 4 from hc and one more is me!) and also working adults.
talking to adults can be actually quite interesting. you see their job scope, their desire to be young again, their depth, their sensibility, their experiences.
:D
after camp was sleep :D i needa catch up with my beauty sleep!
after sleep was bbq at kai's (minister of hospitality) place.
it was madness. the esco reunite :D
ahaha. musical evening tomorrow ((:
alright i need to sleep. i've to wake up early to draw shoes.
shall end off with a very formal picture of our esco
